Lost Thunder (Japanese: 超爆インパクト Super-Burst Impact) is the eighth main expansion of the Sun & Moon Series, released in English on November 2, 2018 and in Japan on September 7, 2018. The English print is the largest single Sun & Moon expansion at 214 cards in the master set (236 including the secret rare slot range), built by combining the smaller Japanese SM8 set with cards held back from prior subsets. The set theme is "Ancient Power Echoing from the Mountaintops," leaning heavily on Johto-region Pokémon and Generation II legendaries.
